Before Marie’s guidance, my biggest nutrition struggle was consistency. I was either restricting myself or “off the wagon” and there was no in between. I was stuck in the vicious cycle of depriving myself, basically starving myself, into a full on binge...usually for days at a time. At least that’s what I THOUGHT my biggest problem was. In reality, what I thought was lack of will power was just my body telling me that I needed more. 

For years, my relationship with food was tumultuous to say the least.... It always felt like the enemy... Any pleasure I received for a good meal was met with guilt and later deprivation.

Now, my eating is effortless. I watch my protein and calories, but I'm not a slave to them. I have found some staples that feed me what I need with leaving plenty of room for fun. I look at food completely differently. It is no longer the enemy- it gives me the nutrition and energy I need to fully participate in my life. And I am amazed how much I can actually eat and still make progress!

 And what I have found is that as soon as you let go of being obsessed with every morsel you put in your mouth, your life opens up. I now feel like I have more hours in the day. Seriously, I had no idea how much time and brain power I was using up worrying about my next diet or next plan. I’m not saying that I’m in love with every physical aspect of my body, but I have found such a sense of peace and love with knowing that I am treating my body well. And that is priceless.

Thanks to Marie, my relationship with food has taken a complete 180. I never feel like nutrition has to be an all or nothing kind of thing anymore.
